Everything kicks off at noon with the town photo at the Chatham Lighthouse. From there, you can check out various concerts throughout the day at venues like the Orpheum Theater, Unitarian Universalist Meeting House, St. Christopher’s Church, Methodist Church, and Monomoy Middle School. These concerts start at 1:00 PM and continue until 10:00, so no matter when you’re out and about, you’ll find one to attend.

At 6:00 PM, the Noise Parade starts at the corner of Cross Street and Main Street. You’re free to participate in this event and are encouraged to make as much noise as you wish as the procession continues through downtown to the Chatham Community Center.

Once you arrive at the Chatham Community Center, you can stick around and watch the fireworks at Veterans Field, which start at about 6:30.

First Night Chatham ends at 10:00 PM, so you can return to your vacation rental and ring in the New Year in a warm and cozy location.
